Texas Law

I do state inspections. So if you live in an emissions county like Dallas etc. Then you Jeep with the s-10 swap will most likely not pass. How ever if you go to a county that only does safety inspection then it is not a big thing and it will pass as long as all light work horn works and brakes and ebrake works and tires are good etc. It is no diff then a v8 in an s-10.

PS if you do take it to a safety only county then you will have to say u live in that county and sign a form stating so but no big deal.
Hope this helps

S10 swap into Wrangler

Hey guys, I live in Ft Worth, and I own a 97 Wrangler, 2.5, ax5 std. I am planning on swaping a 95 S10 4.3, auto into the wrang. I have been told that it cannot be done in tex because of the emissions law. Has anyone in the texas forums done this? If so, I would greatly appreciate your help.
My dad will be doing the work and he lives in Ok. We were not aware of any problems like this.
Thanks for all your help
