redef9sir Thanks for asking this question cause I want to keep my Rubicon wheels when I decide what size tires I want to go with.

Ted_D mine is lifted 2 inches and rubs with 265/75/16's. I know I can add washers but it kills the tight turning

cbsarefun I lifted my 06 Rubicon with 2" coil spring spacers and I am waiting for my cooper st 255x85x16 tires. I was told that they should fit with no problem. I'll let you know how I make out when I get them.

snwchris Yea you can get either 285/75/16's = 33's or you can get 315/75/16 = 35's.
More then likely you'll rub a little with the 35's you can fix by adjusting the steering stops or get some spidertrax wheel spacers.

InfernoGirl You can't put a 12.5" tire on a stock wheel without spacers. There's too much backspace on stock wheels for clearance with that wide a tire. You should clear 10.5's fine, but some wider tires may rub in front at full turn. It's easily fixed with a washer or two on the steering stops... Problem is 33x10.5's are few and far between....

33's/35's on stock 04 Rubicon rims?

I'm wanting to go with a larger tire when I get my lift. Would I be able to do 33 12.50 or 35 12.50's on the stock rubi rims? Is it advisable to go with a 10.50 width on these rims?
