Update

Saturday, January 22nd, WOHVA held our Spring '11 Trails Information Meeting. Those in attendance took home some very useful information relating to OHV trails & trail projects here in the Badger State. Attendee's were able to view the 2011-2015 SCORP (State Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan) survey questions, as well as review the criteria and rationale behind this document. Information presented included updates on other topics which included; the Pipeline 4x4 Challenge Area, McCaslin Mountain, WOHVA's Northwoods-Mole Lake Jeep Jamboree USA Trail Guide Program, pending 4WD & OHM legislation, State Motorized Recreation Area (MRA), Wisconsin Governor's State Trails Council, MVUM for the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, Mole Lake trail riding opportunities and numerous other contemporary topics.

An update on some of the offerings at the upcoming WOHVA 7th Annual Wisconsin OHV Enthusiasts Workshops (April 8th & 9th) was also presented. The meeting lasted less than two hours. Attendee's walked away with new, current and accurate information necessary to be strong motorized recreation advocates. Congratulations to our two door prize winners, Cotty Barrett ($50 4WD Hardware Gift Card) & Tom DeSombre (Tom Wood's Drive Shafts Prize Package).

If you missed this free meeting ask a WOHVA Member what the latest news is about motorized recreation & trails here in the Badger State.
