sammyboy when i threw a 4" RC on my YJ the front dipped a little bit, definitely has that dragster look. i cant speak for tj's but if you are having problems already its only going to get worse. I would pick up some front coil spacers or even a shackle lift for the front if you can manage that without compications. dont go over an inch though.

rubiunlimited I installed a 4" rough country X-series and mine sits perfectly level, then again i dont have a rock bumper or winch on my jeep so that may have something to do with it.

birtydugger thx mortalis...yes we have decided to spacer the front up...there is about 150LB of weight ..so makes sense to balance it out....cheers anyway.

Mortalis5509 The winch and the front bumper will differently pull it down. How much does the bumper and winch weigh? Put a spacer up front to level everything out.

4" rough country fitted..looks like a dragster!??!

question for the TJ boys mostly!!...my mate has a 97 TJ 4.0ltr,..has a 2" body lift and just fitted some 4" rough country coils from ebay..he said it looks like a dragster on level ground and measures (from ground to bottom of rocker) front=26.5"...and the rear 27.5"...is that normal with this brand??? does it need to settle?? we have fitted between us 6 x lifts before of various makes n sizes..3 x YJ's & 3 x TJ's...never had this before!!?..it has an ARB bumper front/rear and a winch up front and a soft-top and sits on 33"..wondered if we should add a 1"coil spacer up front to compensate?..or put sum bags of ballast in the rear help it settle?...any others with same experiences with ROUGH COUNTRY SPRINGS? it rides ok too no noises, all seems ok..but havent offroaded her yet
