AzTJ Mounting anything larger than the stock tire & wheel combo will eventually lead to a saggy tail gate. A swing out one would be best. I do how ever like the OR-Fab and TnT carriers. They mount to the body instead of a bumper.

tire carrier need help

Hey guys/ girls I'm in need of a new tire carrier. Here's the story. I have a smitty built (scr)? rear bumper. I finally got a matching spare rim and I want to put it on but I only have like 1 inch of spare room with the old stock tire and I'm going with 31/1050/15 and I don't think I will have room then..... . . So does anyone suggest a tire carrier like just the little upgrade thing for the old spare one or should I just save up and buy the swing out tire carrier and get someone to weld it to the bumper.
Thanks
