gbjeep Got the posi-lock. Easy to install, Directions were not very good. Still easy to install and works great. Already playing in the mud. Thanks for all the help....

daddyjeep The vaccuum pump is your engine. All of the vaccuum is supplied from the nipples on you intake manifold and throttle body. Any leak can wreak havok on the 4x4 and other things. This a common problem. The posilok should be a solution that you won't have to worry about any more. The cheapest place I have seen it was at collins brothers, but that was a while ago. http://www.collinsbrosjeep.com/main.htm

Hey man,

I found this site with excelent description of how to make a posi lock yourself.

Doesn't seem all too difficult. Maybe you could give it a try?

bluvikng I am not sure about operating the pump manually. Just know that they have the manual cable system.

Easy to install, and I believe that Quadratec has them. This is a manuel over ride.

Front axle wont work

My vacum pump is not working now.Wont engage front axle.
Can anyone help by telling me where to order the cable operated disconnect called a Posi-Lok or any other system. Are they hard to install?
