|DevilDogDoc||I ended up using the advance adapters tc bracket on mine, between my 1.25 BL and the inch tc drop my linkage was at all kinds of weird angles. Worked good for less than $50 delivered. I did have to extend my shifter rod to get it into 4lo though. Still cheaper than the cable shifter!|

The NOVAK is nice but really expensive, I managed with a 1" bl to adjust my linkage sufficiently to be able to shift it better than before.
I did need to remove the whole assembly in order to free the slide due to rust. Took an arbor press to finally get it free. I do live in the wonderfully rusty state of VT though

Have a 4" suspension and 2" body lift on jeep i just bought. Problems with the linkage i suppose. Has a hard time getting in 4hi. I'm afraid if I put it in 4lo i won't be able to get it out. Was told with the body lift the linkage would need to be extended, or take the body lift out. I would like to keep the body lift if i can. What kind of extended linkage is recommended? And, (im sure there is) is there a difference between and auto and manual transmission when dealing with engaging the 4x4?
