MikalCarbine Thanks for the reply DTS. I'm pretty dead set on the BFH trail stinger. I'm aware the pictures above are for the old stinger only and are slightly different. It thanks for mentioning that. I sent Brent an email yesterday asking him if he has any front on pictures of the BFH with fairlead mounted lights. Do you have any lying around?

DTS Even though bar-mounted lights are "lame" , we can weld the tabs on to the Brawler Bar for you here before shipping. There's no option for that on the website so you'd have to call in to order it. Also, just an FYI in the first post, the 2nd and 3rd photos are of our non-BFH plain old Trail Stingers.

Good luck with whichever you choose. Metal Cloak makes nice stuff too.

Firemangully I say PSC Brawler Bar with plate covering the logo. You can mount lights anywhere...

AzTJ I meant smaller lights to go on the fairlead mount.

MikalCarbine IMO I think bar mounted lights are lame but to each his own

I'm pretty set on the trail stinger now. I just found a bunch of pictures to help me visualize it on my rig. I just hope it's not goofy with stock lift for the time being haha

I'm going to order it next week after I get paid, along with free shackle tabs (part of current sale) and the winch fairlead mount. I'm pumped

AzTJ Weld on some tabs and mount them to the top of the bar... SOLVED.

Either that or you need smaller lights... http://www.visionxusa.com/LED-Solsti...duct_info.html

MikalCarbine Haha damn you AzTJ, I was looking at the brawler bar for a while. There's no way to mount lights on it though, even with their fairlead light bracket, the bar gets in the way.

AzTJ PSC Brawler Bar.

MikalCarbine I'm pretty set on the PSC Stinger... anyone thing it'll look wicked goofy on 31s stock lift for a few months? Gana go take some measurements this weekend to help picture what it'll look like installed

Coasttrash PSC gets my vote, forget what people think for having a stinger on your DD. If that's your concern stick with stock bumper and please everybody not yourself.

Peepers First one. If you don't like the logo, put your plate over it with some self-taping screws.

MikalCarbine Any others?

Help me decide on my bumper! (PSC vs Metalcloak)

It's time for me to order my new front bumper very soon. I've always wanted a PSC BFH Stinger deep inside but something told me not to since my TJ is my DD and I looked at the brawler bar instead. The brawler bar and other winch guard like bumpers are nice and all but don't tickle me the right way... Also, I've decided recently I am getting a 2nd car for commuting to give Bonnie (TJ) a break. This will also let me retire her as a DD and do some sweet upgrades that you wouldn't want on a DD (i.e. stinger). I also came across metalcloak's frame built modular bumper and I am stuck. Maybe you guys can help?

Poison Spyder Customs - BFH Trail Stinger

Pros
Solid, welded design
Excellent approach angles, does not limit tire approach
Comes unpainted so I can paint it to match my rear bumper and other accessories (Krylon semi-flat)
Cons
Might look insanely goofy with 31s on stock lift (doing 3" lift this spring then 33's this summer)
Where to put front license plate? (state mandated)
Laser etched logo

Metalcloak - Frame Built Modular Bumper 20" TJ Stinger

Pros
Modular, can choose end caps, run bumper without stinger until TJ is officially retired from being DD and is lifted
Can always swap the stinger out for another bar/nothing if it turns out I don't like it
End caps for fender protection
The main bumper can be aluminum, reducing the weight by 40+ lbs
Can mount a license plate holder to cleanly mount my state required front license plate
Cons
Modular, supposedly proven strength but the bolt on design has me wondering
A little more expensive than the PSC (20% off deal right now really helps price though)
Not too sure how much I like the "support" arms attached to the stinger
Requires $20 metal plates to run stock swaybar...
Laser etched logo
