NEWWRANGLEROLDCJ7 I cant wait to ding up my bumper, that will motivate me even more to get a nice off road bumper and winch put on it.

BLEGAN Yeah def needs to stay legal.. Although those might be legalish. I could probably get away with it if not haha.

The bang it out option seems best at the moment.. Much cheaper. Replacement fenders are like 200+ plus paint. Lame.

GoldenSahara00 yea that was more the type of fender I was refering to^ not like MCE flattys, I just couldnt remem the name. Haha. XtrTJ i think he wants it road legal still ;P since he is hitting telephone poles and all I assume he uses it on road.

rbloodhound Look at

They have a fender that completely replaces the metal part. You can run up to a 36 inch tire with no lift. That is a future plan of mine.

XtrmTJ My way of thinking is, "If you can't armor plate it, cut it off, you don't need it cos it just gets in the way."

would that correct the problem? ive been looking at flares.. but they wouldn't correct the metal bending issue eh?

GoldenSahara00 Or leave it, battle scars baby!

GoldenSahara00 The metal? like the fender part, not the flare part correct? ouch. time to update to some flattys! :P haha jk. but not a bad idea if you like the look.

I imagine take a hammer to the underside, maybe place a board on eitherside, and clamp then hammer to make it level. then you might want to do some paint, or at least some clear coat to protect the area from rust. pics would help.

Best Solution : Fender Damage

I dinged my front left fender a bit.

Long story short (and you're not getting the long one)

I slid into a telephone pole.

The damage isn't bad at all. It's just bent a little bit.

What do you all suggest i do about it?

a) Take it a to a body shop?

b) bang it out myself?

c) leave it?

it doesn't rub at all whilst wheeling but the paint is chipping a little. may get some rust eventually

let me know what you think.

and.. I've seen it on the JK's but I don't think the TJ's can have fender flares that completely replace the stock fenders (including the steel part), correct?

I could get pictures up tomorrow if that would help at all
