Heres what I did. I used KC replacement fogs on the bumper, 55w. Still use factory harness.
130w KC long range Slimlites on the windshield. The beam from the fogs is to wide to mount on the windshield, you'll get to much glare to be useful. You gotta get pencil beam.
Running the harness isn't too hard. I drilled a hole thru from the engine compartment to the cowl and ran the light wires and switch wires, the switch wires were fished into the cab on the drivers side, there is a large harness and grommet, push wire into cab.
As for the light wires, I drilled 1/4" holes in the cowl panel, alot of people dont like to drill holes in their rigs, but it looks really clean.

Windshield offroad light install write up?
Anybody got a good write up on how to install a set of offroad lights on the windshield hinges using the stock fog light switch?
