Transportation is something I need every day, year after year. The accumulated amount of my life I spend driving somewhere might as well be spent enjoyably.
I've had other "fun" vehicles through the years. Once upon a time, full size vans were cool. Install some carpet, an 8-track tape deck, some surfboard racks....go somewhere far away. Same with air-cooled VW beetles. There used to be a huge aftermarket "bug" hobby. Over-size pistons/cylinders, exhaust header, weber carb....cruise around town on $1 worth of gas. I was younger then.
Jeep wrangler is much the same fun to me now. Utility, simplicity, style....conservative tradition for my older-age interests. Slightly uncomfortable/inconvenient to keep the crowd limited. Not too fancy....just right for someone who prefers to wear blue jeans and wolverines.

I love mine 'cause when I pull up next to an H2 and LOOK DOWN on them, I get to laugh and they can only hang their heads in shame
I love mine 'cause no matter how crazy I go with mods, it only adds to the overall coolness factor.
I love mine 'cause if I ever race a rice burner and lose, I'll just catch up to them at the next stop light, turn left, and drive over them!

|99wranglertj||I love my Jeep because it represents freedom! I can go places most other vehicles can't. I can pull away from a stop light like im on dry pavement when there is 2 feet of snow on the ground. I'd like to see my buddy's 2wd Silverado or a little pos Honda Civic do that! Stopping... that's different, i don't have ABS on mine. It takes me places I never knew were there. It awesome to drive, I agree with Mr RPM, "It feels and drives Like A mini tank." You cant get more down to Earth driving anything BUT a JEEP!! o||||||o|

because its unique and does not fit into any car genre. It feels and drives Like A mini tank.
Jeeps have a great history and tradition. It always finds a new way for me to spend money on goodies for it (maybe a bad thing...lol). everyone thinks they are cool.
jeep owners have a bond that very few other automobiles have.
And its loyal

I love my Jeep, because on the way home from work yesterday, I stomped on the pedal to get up from 35 to 45, and it promptly slipped sideways on me.
After driving it for nearly ten minutes, this was my first indicator that the world was icy!
...I was wondering why the cop was watching me so closely when I made that tight left turn shortly beforehand...

|tuko||Why I love my Jeep, oh let me count the ways. First it's not a car or a truck. It's not a SUV nor is it a a van. It's the only vehicle which you don't drive but you operate. It take a special skill to operate as it may not be the most stable. This instability makes it very specialized. Only the most skilled can make it zip like a sports car. It can take me places both physically and mentally like no other vehicle can. Physically I can go into places no one goes. Up steep rock, across streams, though deep snow and mud, onto sand or though ravines with no trail all right out of the show room. Mentally it takes me to peaceful places to reflect or challenges me in testing my skills of controlling this piece of moving metal. It can help me express my individuality in the many ways I can customize it. You can ride with the doors on or the doors off, the windshield up or the windshield down, the roof on or the roof off. You can seat four or seat two, you can sit down or stand up, carry stuff behind you or above you. Need light no problem add some. You can park it right where you are hanging out no matter where that is and have a seat. And if it matters to you it is socially acceptable and rad to be dirty. Than there is the camaraderie of other owners. It is the same camaraderie motorcycle owners have without the chest expansion. I ride also. I mean how many other people or groups ( if I can use that term ) wave to each other when they pass. Or are willing to help out a fellow owner you don't even know. When I park some where I always seem to have someone come to me and ask for a jump or a tool or even water. All of which a have with me. I can go on for another four pages but my finger is tired. I've owned four jeeps so far and two of them have been wranglers and whether it is a Wrangler or Grand Wagoneer ( my favorite Jeep ) I AM a Jeep lover.|

It has been in production since 1941. Name any other 4wheel drive that has been produced that long! It is still in production today! It has won a World War, it has been all over this planet, it has been owned and loved by billions, Kings and Presidents have owned Jeeps.
It's a JEEP thing ... If you don't get it by now, you never will.

because it is convertible in the summer, warm in the winter, 4WD, the wife, boy and dog all love riding in it and it has never let me down. The jeep wave is a plus - make me feel like I am in the kool kid club.
Besides it is paid for....what's not to love about not having a car payment.
