Normal wear, (includes ESP), no warranty
Check your front pads, they're not TOO far from replacement also--

I agree with the other posters.
However, if I didn't, my view of the next step would be to obtain an affidavit of a competent independent mechanic stating his opinion that the real problem is XYZ, as well as his estimated cost of repair. I would expect you'd have to pay the mechanic a fee to provide this. If XYZ was indeed covered by a warranty, present the affidavit to the dealership, and demand repair. If they refuse, file a small claims suit. Your principal piece of evidence would be the affidavit.
Regardless, I think the dealership is probably right, so you're likely out of luck.

|daggo66||Actually that sounds right. JK's rear brakes wear notoriously fast. The E-brake has it own shoes.|

Should be under warranty
I began to get a grinding noise in the rear brakes. Upon inspection I noticed the driver rear wheel discolored a rusty dark brown. The rest looked ok. I had to take the jeep in for a recall anyway so I explained the problem and they ended up selling me a rear only brake job. The jeep has 33500 miles. They put on a new rotor and pads. They said "debris" caused the problem. I think it was the ebrake being defective and not disengaging or a stuck caliper. Thoughts? Ammunition to fight the bill an get my 330 back? Thanks
