TexasT Are you sure you're not looking at a fuel filter. A pump should not be mounted by the carb.

shrubeck If it's like almost every other carbureted vehicle, that's the only pump. It gets gas from the tank by sucking.

Fuel pump near carburator? or two pumps?

am wondering if it is possible to have more then one fuel pump, in a YJ wrnagler.
i can see clearly a metal fuel pump placed at the driver side near the Carburator.
Is it possible that this is the main pump? how come fuel goes up to reach it?
or ther are another one below the tank?
