Gumpy2030 I have never had it throw mine out of balance. I once got stuck in the snow and had the entire rim packed with snow but even then I didn't really notice it. But that is my complaint about these rims is water tends to puddle at the bottom of the rim and that lock ring keeps it from draining 100% out. I just wipe mine out with a rag when I get home from time to time.

Anyone else having an issue with snow freezing between the lock ring and rim causing serious off balance issues? It's fine after cleaning it out.
