02-02-2011 07:11 AM
myjeepandmydog I think that looks pretty sweet. Can't decide which one id like better though. Bedliner does look pretty unique.
02-01-2011 10:52 PM
sinduda216 yea its just hard to see
02-01-2011 10:36 PM
d3digit with bedliner (photoshop) this one is a little hard because the original pic has reflection
02-01-2011 10:25 PM
sinduda216 i am in the process of looking for a new grill so i can mess that one up just incase
02-01-2011 10:20 PM
d3digit sorry here
02-01-2011 10:19 PM
d3digit here is my photoshop version, the lighting makes it a lit difficult to see the different
02-01-2011 05:16 PM
seadog Could have been the lighting, but it was really hard to tell the difference. Then again, if he used bed liner with a texture, it might stand out differently.

All I know is, it is fugly on my Mango Sahara. Maybe if i had black fenders...

Please post the pic when you get a chance--my brother's thinking about doing the same to his natural green TJ, so it'd give him a good example!

MTH FYI, there are some threads floating around about how to bedline your grille. They may be helpful to you, if you haven't reviewed them already.

Here's one: (http://www.wranglerforum.com/f33/my-...con-68125.html)

It should look awesome. And it will be unique for sure. Post up some pics when you can.

waiting til next month or after a big road trip in march, then start putting some serious money into the rig. just trying to make it different from the others in the near by area. I want it to be MY JEEP, not just another wrangler.

I still would like to photoshop it to see, or get a actual photo of someone's or after the photo shop, if i like maybe just maybe i might be the first Natural Green JK with a flat black grille, ...nice

Just read through the thread and was about to ask if you'd go with a flat or glossy black. I'd definitely go with the flat black. I think it would look great, but I would photoshop it first to see.

What other black accessories do you have on your Jeep if any? For instance, fuel door, light guards, etc

Don't call it yet as it will have every chrome package they have to offer which is two. Which I think is 7 different items. I just can't remember with out looking. Will look better then a naked black grill in the Kansas moonlite! And I think the jeep will have seven slots.

seadog PM me a pic of the front of your Jeep and I'll have it photoshopped. My daughter convinced me not to do mine, but I'm Mango and it was too much.
01-28-2011 10:31 PM
sinduda216 sorry but there will be little to no chrome on my ride
01-28-2011 10:27 PM
KSCRUDE You know in the last few years some of the black ones are really starting to look hot to me. Maybe you should go ahead and try a black one just one time. They say it will change your luck if you go black. He'll forget the chrome, I think I Need a cute black one myself!

i know most people always confuse the natural green for black when the light isn't that great. i think it would look good also but still want to see it before i go ahead and ruin mine if i dont like like it

sinduda216 i just want to know if it looks good, i dont have anyone near me that i know or at least on a friendly basis to ask if i can swamp out the grille for a second to see what it would look like
01-28-2011 09:37 PM
MTH I've seen a military green one with a black grille in the TJ section. Not quite what you needed, but might give you a basic idea if nothing else appears.

Also don't underestimate the value of Microsoft Paint.
