I actually just purchased the 2" Heavy load Old Man Emu lift kit. It hasn't arrived yet, so i can't give you my review.
It's acclaimed that the OME suspension lift improves the ride/handling over the stock setup. I can only guess that other lifts don't improve the ride/handling as much, if at all.
I've heard the actual life can be anywhere from 1.75" to almost 3", depending on your load.
I choose this kit because my Jeep is my only vehicle (daily driver), and I didn't want to go overboard.
I'll try to re-post after I've experienced the finished product.

I'm in the exact same boat. Priced out a 3.5" Rubicon Express lift on the weekend to the tune of $2,000 (installed and aligned). But, for the limited amount of time I'll be offroad, I can't swing that.
Can anyone point me to a good site to review this 2" OME lift?

|oIIIIIIo||I agree with 530ktm. If you are going to stay with 32" tires then go with 2" lift by OME. If you want to go to 33" then go with Teraflex or RE it will give you plenty of room to flex. I am currently running a 33" Goodyear wrangler mtr/kevlar and 3" Teraflex lift. I am pretty happy with it.|

|Mike5087||Great bc I was really actually torn on a 2" or 3" lift and someone mentioned that lift in my last post and I just wasn't set on 2" being big enough but like u mentioned I'm not thrilled on the idea of a ton of mods. I guess I'll start small and build up!|

|530ktm||You do not need a 3 inch suspension lift to run 32 inch tires. You may need to do more mods with a 3 inch suspension lift as well. If you want to run 32 inch tires and have it work right you should consider a 2 inch lift like an OME. 2 inch suspension lift is the safest way to go if you don't want to do other mods to drive lines, etc. BFG AT's are good tires for the road and dirt but not mud and snow. You will have to have correct back spacing on the wheels for the larger tires as they may rub when full turn.|

Ok so I already had a post about my thoughts of a lift. But I decided to start another one to get opinions on my final thoughts. I'm going to go with a 3" susp. Lift and most likely got with 32" tires. Also if anyone had a thought on a good lift kit that would be great. I'm pretty much clueless on what is good or not. Majority of my time will be spent on the road but i do plan to let it rip off road. Why have a jeep right?! And for a final thought, sorry this is getting long, tires... I was looking at bfg all terrains. Those should handle fairly well with some light to moderate off roaring right?! Whew that got long. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
