daedalus I'd save up and buy something newer. If you know you love the 4dr JK save up for that. Putting a lot of money into an older, high mileage vehicle is a slippery slope that can easily turn into a money pit.

to build or not to build?

Hey all,
I currently have a 1997 2.5L tj with 190,000 miles on it. I really want to build it but it just seems like a waste. I've already repainted it and sprayed the inside with bedlinner. But after I spend $4000 plus to lift it the right way and get 33"s on it, its still going to be a four cylinder with 190,000k on it. So I guess there are two questions: 1) should I spend money to build it or save money and get a newer one? And 2) should I stick with what I know and get the newest tj I can afford or spring for the new 4 door jk that I'm slowly falling in love with? All opinions are welcome.
Thanks for your input in advance
