The RECIRC feature will not activate in this feature. I tried it on defrost only, defrost and feet, and feet only, wont come on until you have some air directed out of the top vents. So this doesnt help with this particular problem.

lytmup I have what feels like a lava pit for a heater in mine.

It is actually so hot that at full blow (thats what she said!!) after its been on for a while that the vents are almost too hot to touch.

I have never had an issue with anyone in the front being cold, hands or feet. I have honestly never ever felt a stronger heater in any car that I have been in.

seadog I would have the dealership check the blower control unit and the blower. The blower has little doors that move to whatever position you select with the control unit (knobs). Most are vacuum controlled, but some are either mechanical or electrical. I don't know what the JK has. My heater works well, so I haven't explored.

KooL I can never feel hardly any heat on my feet either. My passenger always says they can feel it though.

Steel02001 I dont have the passenger vs driver problem, but you are right about the feet. When I have it on defrost and feet, or just feet I dont really feel much going on down low.

1rootman The jeep motor blower is located behind the glove box. If you had any loose papers in you glove box they may have got sucked up into the fan intake causing a reduction in air flow.

Heater Troubles?

I have a 2010 JK, and I was wondering if anyone else was having heater issues. Or if this is just something I'm going to have to get used to. The passenger side vents will blow out hot air, while the driver side vents only blow out warm air. So, my problem is, by the time I get warm, my passenger has been fried to a crisp When I select the "Floor" option on the controls, I don't even feel any air in the drivers side floorboard.
