|drl650||I really like my Skyjacker Hydros. I switched out my RE shocks too stiff. BTW I read that RE is no longer in business or revamping? I have a 4.5" RE lift with no issues at all.|

|Arch Stanton||I've read a lot a positive posts regarding OME and Skyjacker shocks. I just got back from the mechanic for an alignment, and he told me that there is still some life in my Mopar HD gas-charged shocks, so I'll wait until spring for a good deal. Thanks for posting your comments. Have a good evening.|

|Arch Stanton||Are there any nitro shocks that are valved for the weight of a TJ? Thank you.|

|2002Apex||hydros are more tuned to for the weight of a jeep as opposed to nitros which are designed for heavier vehicles. i.e. nitros will give a stiff ride. Some say if you have a hardtop or expect heavy loads then go nitros. kind of how ome advertises.|

If I've seen the same RE and Skyjacker budget boosts, the Skyjacker kit comes with bump stops for the front and rear. The RE kit (one with the twin tube shocks) only comes with rear bumps stops. The RE kit with the mono tube shocks is an extra 100-something dollars than the other 2 kits.

surprised no one has mentioned this..
but which shocks are you looking at?
RE mono tubes = more good
skyjaker hydros = good
skyjacker nitro/RE twin tubes = less good

|Phillies4752||I would go with sky jacker if you want a bb. If you want anything other then that go with r.e.|

|uppidycon||a budget boost is a budget boost.. just go with whichever has the color you want and cheapest.. they're all gonna do the same thing..|
