Jerry Bransford Use a 1/4" to 3/8" max drive ratchet wrench to get them pretty tight and you'll be fine without a torque wrench. The 1/4" to 3/8" ratchet wrench's shorter handle length will limit how much torque can be applied so you can't strip the threads but allow it to be tight enough to not leak... which doesn't take much. There is no need for a torque wrench for these two particular bolts. Just don't use a 1/2" ratchet drive on them.

acrijos Oil pan drain plug is 25 ft lbs
Transfer case drain plug: 15-20 ft lbs
Transfer case fill plug: 15-20 ft lbs
Transmission drain plug: 14-20 ft lbs
Transmission fill plug: 14-21 ft lbs

Okay, it may be a dumb question, but does anyone know the official torque specs for the fill and drain plugs on an AX15?
