yes ive shown him. he reasons that something between me and another vehicle is better than nothing. (he was a volunteer firefighter for many years and hes told me countless stories of him pulling people out of cars)

jgano23 i used to have the olympic safari doors. they were nice, but i ended up selling them because i ended up liking "no doors" better. if i were to re-buy safari doors, i'd probably go with the bestop element doors because of how versatile they are.

JDsDream I use the bestop element doors. I'm building my half doors and with the element doors you buy the rails, enclosures and uppers seperately. Another great thing about the element doors is that they are pre-drilled for your stock mirrors eliminating the need to relocate them. It's as close as you can get to doorless and keep the rents happy.

yeah i was also looking into that as well. IMO it looks pieced together as opposed to matching doors.

TJe0454 and getting any other color half doors plus the cost of painting is waay over my budget right now.

best tube/safari doors

what safari/tube doors do you guys use? i want some sort of protection against a potential collision. i know the best doors in the summer are no doors, but my dad demands i have something. and there is no way i want to be cruising with the top down and FULL. STEEL. DOORS......arghh

and i have been looking into getting OEM half doors in my color flame red (PR4) to no avail.
