Bryan5455 Not sure on the distance between the axle and bumpstop. I will have to get back to you on that. However, I did jump up and down on the front bumper yesterday and it feels like the shock are ok, however, I does slightly feel like it's hitting the stops.

nicolas-eric perhaps your front is sagged and it goes into the bumpstops.
how much space is there between the bumpstop and the axle?

perhaps the shocks are broken...push down the right and then the left front of your TJ. does it go up and down after that very often until it stands still?

97 Front Suspension

Newbie Here
I just bought a 97 w/ 2.5l that has 28,000 miles on it (Totally Stock other than 31" Tires on American Racing Wheels.
My question is, when ever I go up a drive approach into a parking lot (Traveling 15-20 mph) it feels like it is bottoming out. It hits so hard, I think my teeth might fall out. Is this normal or are my shocks or spings wasted? I wouldn't think so due to the low milage. Any help would be appreaciated. Other than that love the jeep.
