InfernoGirl Pretty sure your stockers are 16's, not 15's, but since lots of JK's come from the factory with 17's you'll be fine as long as you don't deviate too far from the stock 255/75/17 tires that come stock on 17's.

Welcome to the forum too

Upgrading from stock 15 to 17

I have a 2011 Wrangler Sport and I only have the base level 15s on right now. I wasnt to upgrade to nicer rims and tires and found a set of 5 jeep rims with the thick 5 spokes that come on most wranglers. The rims are 17's.

My concern is can I get some All Terrain / Mud Terrains in 17s that will not make my tire be too large for the rear spare (so the brake light still shows), and will I have to have some adjustments so the 17s dont drag in the wheel well? Is there anything else I should be thinking about?

I had a TJ for 10 years but its been a long time since I've changed the tires.
