ttmanthey Where did you pick up the material for the rocker plates and about how much did they cost if you don't mind me asking? They look great and so does the bumper!

bwilburn The rockers are galv. steel, I can't say for sure how thick but I think around .075, with a rattle can satin black.

94 yj Nice work. Are those rockers steel or aluminum? How thick? What did you finish them with. Bumper looks great.

bwilburn Thanks for the complements. In reply to the questions. Dkdkgus- 1. cut it flush 2. I dont know why to tell you the truth. 3. No the go up to but not under.

Monkee2002- No dimensions, I was painting the flairs when I started puttin them back on I left the bottom screws out took a piece of thin cardboard put it behind the flairs and traced the curves of the flairs. Used that for my pattern.

monkeee2002 Looks super!
how'd you make the rocker guards? Do you by chance have the dimensions? I've been thinking about doing that as well.

DKDKGUS Looks good. Glad to see someone make their ideas a reality. Couple of questions, 1) did you roll the bottom under at all or just cut it flush to the bottom? 2) why did you end the top lower than the door? 3) do they extend under the factory flares?

I'm in the process of making my own custom rocker/sliders and just wondered.
