Really like these Mopar enhanced rock rails...They are body mounted and a direct bolt on with no drilling or cutting. The fit & qualify is great....

Absolute Offroad I dont know that I would suggest attatching them by the same way you would an XJ. An XJ is a Uni-Body, and If you were to attatch rock rails to a JK by the frame and to the pinch seam, it would wrinkle the tub of the Body when it goes off-road and flexes. If you are going to make your own I would suggest either mounting method, but not BOTH. The JK's also have a really strange curvature to the body. It would be quite difficult to make one that didnt look odd. They are not straight like the XJ or the TJ. Have you looked at these?

OK it seems very few companies are offering rocker guards and those that are are asking $400 plus. Has anyone made there own?

I have a buddy who needs a set and was looking for ideas. I have a general direction I am leaning towards which is going to be similar to how they attach to an XJ.
