|purplewg||Uh huh, and how long did it take? The instructions say around 6 hours if I remember right. Oh, and if you had help you have to multiply time by the number of helpers. lol|

|lashleyftl||ok update got the front end complete rear end is on a jack right now broke all 4 shoke bolts. got some that should work from a bolt store. going to try and drill and tap those holes tomarrow and should be done hopefully and as far as the beer goes im on duty cant drink which this is now a bad weekend for this job lol....beer would really make this a lot better|

|adawg38||You don't need to remove those control arms. It may be a little easier but as long as you got the spring compressor you are golden. Use a small piece of 2x4 on the exposed end of the bolt and hit it with a BFG but do NOT hit the bolt directly with the hammer. If you need to let it soak for a while.|

|Jeepersbatman||If the bushings is already shot put put a torch to the nut. That works wonders freeing up seized bolts. Be sure to wipe off everything you sprayed on it as it is flamable! You might spray it with some degreaser, dry it, then torch it.|

|lashleyftl||ok so update jeep on lift not lifted just on a auto lift lol lower control arm bolt will not come out the bushing is no good i think.... so options i can get the bushings from autozone first thing in the morning, no bolts with that.... ideas on how to get those out and save the bolt?????, or idea to get the bolt to budge i hosed it down with some liquid wrench and its soaking in it right now....HELP lol with out he lower control arms coming off no coils and no coils no jeep with nice kit help|

x3 on PB Blaster and a coil spring compressor.
Also, don't get in a huge hurry, I tried to rush through mine when I did it in September and ended up having to go back and fix things that I didn't do properly the first time.

|purplewg||Oh, one more thing. Like they said, Beer is a requirement when you find out their 6 hour installation estimate is off by 3X.|

|purplewg||I did the 3 inch Zone lift in Dec. I have coil spring compressors and used them even though the instructions didn't mention using them. When you get to the control arm removal, do it, it really helps to have the extra play. You will need a right angle drill to drill the rear track bar mounting bracket. You will need a good pickle fork also. I didn't have no problems with brake line length. Check yours if you plan to do some serious flexing for enough slack. When I dropped the rear axle I did put the rear end vent hose loose. Make sure you watch for that and put it back on. I had some problems separating the sway bar links on top. Cut the rubber off and then the pickle fork will work much better. If I think of anything else I will pass it along. I went ahead and put boots on the shocks. The kit doesn't come with them|

|Jeepersbatman||One thing that comes to mind is to spray some pb blaster on everything you will have to remove. I did mine a couple of days before and the day before, made easy work of the removal process.|

3inch zone lift
im just ordered the lift and it should be here tomarrow and am thinking about takling that this weekend....never installed a lift befor what should i do to prep any hints tips and tricks would be awsome and things to look for when finished like the brake lines, etc... i will load befor and afters of the lift when complete
