|AOR||Dropping the tcase may get rid of that small window of vibration. Easy enough to remove if it doesn't. I also always recommend an adjustable front track bar with every 3"+ lift. The front skid should be removed if you plan on any serious articulation while wheelng. That is when you will see the front DS interference.|

3" Zone Lift
Have had my 3" Zone lift installed for about a month now and put somewhere near 300 miles on it. Have it on 31's (til I can afford bigger) and the only slight vibration I have it from about 25-30 mph, before and after there is very little to no vibration what so ever. Taking into account I didn't drop the t-case or skid plate (spacers come with kit) and using factory drive shafts as well with no issue. The ONE BIG THING I would suggest replacing is the front track bar. Install instructions say to make another hole to realign the existing track bar by drilling a new hole 3/4" to the right of the center of the existing hole. In my experience at least, the alignment on the front axle will be off around 1/2" which tends to be a pretty major issue. After the lift I had a nasty death wobble problem and even after alignment, I could still make it happen at higher speeds (around 45-50mph) if you haven't had that happen to you, grab a clean pair of underwear for your test drive. I installed a JKS adjustable bar (best on the market for the TJ imo), got the axle back into proper alignment (which for me was about 15 7/8" from the frame rail to center tire line) and can now hit bumps at 70mph with no wobble at all, rock solid.
I would like some input whether or not I should go ahead and drop the skid plate and all or just leave it alone. I still have the front drive shaft skid plate installed as well which according to Zone should be removed as well with no particular issues yet.

I know you haven't had it on there long. How are the Nitro shocks on the street? That seems to be a popular debate. Had a chance to get offroad yet?
Looks great, btw!

|ratuna||Stock shaft thats why I went with the 3" I wanted to keep the cost down, eventually I'll probably get the SYE and CV shaft so I can ditch the T-case drop. But it works as-is for now so I'm happy|

|terminator012||Are you running the stock drive shafts or do you have SYE???|

Only other prob was the upper shock mounts on the passenger rear, I didn't heat them up because they were pretty close to the gas tank and some lines/hoses coming out of it and they both snapped! What a PITA it was to extract them, ended up having to re-tap one of them to 3/8"-16
Drives and handles very good after the alignment, I've had it up to 60mph with no vibes whatsoever Reverse is a little trickier to get into now tho, if you don't really get it in there it grinds and pops out.... I'm guessing the T-case drop might have something to do with that?!?

|terminator012||That looks good. I am seriously considering that lift. Other than your axle problems, where there any other unexpected problems?? How does it drive and handle. Did you get any vibrations after the install.|

3" Zone lift on my TJ
I finally got some decent pics of my new lift. Basic 3" Zone lift with 33x12.5x15 Duratracs. I measured from the ground to the bottom of my rockers before and after. 16.25" before 22.75" after.... 6" total difference, not too bad
