BLEGAN this is kind of an idiototic quick sketch in MS paint of what they would look like.

Nicholson I've seen em, they look lame and impractical...

InfernoGirl Pretty sure Xenon makes a kit that looks pretty much like what you are describing.....

BLEGAN Does that look cool? Could you post a pic

yjkid95 Could be a cool idea. Have front tube fenders with lets say a 4 inch flare. They blend into some rocker guards and have the tube that sticks out a bit like a step on the bottom then blending into the rear tube flares.

MikalCarbine Cool idea in theory but I'm curious how it'd handle at max flex. I heard the frame/tub has a tendency to twist a little bit at max flex and this might cause problems??
02-04-2011 06:11 PM
BLEGAN yeah kinda like that but instead of going in where the rockers would be, just have it keep going flat.

JSY I get what you mean. I saw some jeep that had tube fenders that ran down and turned into boatside rockers. I thought it was a pretty neat idea...

Full Side Fenders??

Has anyone ever seen/heard of full side fenders?

I think It would look preeetttty neat to have flat fenders running from front to rear and also running boards, all in one.

Anyone else think this is a good idea?

My buddy and I have been talking about fabricating custom fenders for my Jeep.. and this may be an option of mine...

Hopefully you get the picture I'm trying to paint here.
