After having the smittybilt for the winter my opinion is:

it is great for winter when you don't have to worry about putting the top down but if you use it in the summer other racks would be easier because this one doesn't fold back or anything. You have to take the crossbars out each time so I took mine off for the summer but definitely plan to put it back on come december.

And yes iron hill is still here and wonderful

SkyTurtle I've been looking at roof racks and baskets too. From what I can see, the Smittybilt looks like the best value. How do you like your SRC rack? I'd need one for the JK. Sorry for the late response; just found this.

Roof Rack

Just got the good old tax return and have wanted a basket for my roof rack so I figured now is the time to do it. I have the Smittybilt SRC roof rack. Does anyone have any recommendations for a basket? Should I stick with the one that Smittybilt offers? (pics would be very helpful)
