kpdiver Mine didn't last long for a DD. 28,000 miles. Great in the mud, not so good in snow and rain. Just my 2 cents.

GrassKicker TJerro, Are you still on wranglerforum? I just found this old thread. How are/did the MTZ's hold out? Mileage, wear pattern?

2much Good decision on tires, thats what I run, and I think you will really be pleased with them, I know I am. And you will get used to the increased road noise.

they are the bestop flares. they came with the jeep when i bought it. they are growing on me though... they were really faded, so i painted them back in september with krylon fusion, and they have held up all winter with no chips, cracks, or peels.

thanks for all the complements! I am really liking the look of these Mickey Thompson MTZ's. So far so good!
Cheers!
Jeff

4Jeepn looks very nice, keep us posted on how the tires do on the trail.

Unlimited Looks great. Bigger tires make a Jeep look like a real Jeep. Don't worry about the centers.... you'll get used to them like that.

AzTJ I'm still wondering if I should go with those... I wish they would make a 32" version

Looks great though!

mrbigjeep looks really nice. the tires look a lot more aggressive. now you just need some black center caps or some black spray paint.

33x12.50 Mickey Thompson MTZ's mounted! (w/pics)

Well, I finally got on my Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's (33x12.50x15)! These are mounted on U.S. Steel Daytona "D" window wheels. The backspacing is 3.75" and works absolutely perfect. I went from 285/75/r15 apache suv tires. The change in power is minimal loss, and I really didnt notice it too much. It actually rolls pretty well, and the road noise is there, but not abnoxious. I just need to paint the centers of the wheels, and it should be ready to roll... well here you go:
