Make sure you drill nice and slow with plenty of pressure. If you drill too fast you'll just burn up the bits.

I was right.

"Oh and dont waste money on an extractor bit, if your thinking about it. they dont work. ask me how I know ;("

Now, on to the business...

you broke off the end of the bit? in the screw, trying to take it out? so its broken and no good huh? so drill that out. and actually drill out the torx bolts like we said. you may have to buy a higher grade drill bit. put some oil on it to keep it from getting to hot, apply some muscle and drill away. Thats all your left with

Extractor inside nut

Hey guys,

I just recently got my mirror movers and I was trying to install them when I couldnt get the screws out. Then, I stripped the screws, naturally. So I was trying to drill them out and that seemed like it wasn't doing much either. So I got extractor drills and they cracked off inside the screw and now I can't get the piece of extractor out.

Does anyone know a shop that can get them out in the Joliet area?

Thanks
