Ha neutral jiggle. Ha. That's me too.
When siting at a red light I usually sit in neutral. If I do put it in gear, no matter when, when the light changes I always take it out of gear, jiggle a little to make sure it's in neutral then back to first.

I used to own a few sport cars and ride sport bikes and now I always rev match/heel-and-toe while downshifting even the Jeep. I also do the neutral jiggle lol. Always go to 4th before reverse.
My girl drives an auto, so I'm always looking for the clutch when I drive it.

|DrewG||Great...more stuff for me to be weird about. I currently have in my repertoire: the 2nd to 1st shifting, seats at the same distance and reclination, jiggling the shifter in neutral, and smashing the imaginary clutch pedal on auto cars. Add to that the fact that I can’t have the volume on an even number and things are getting pretty weird behind the wheel. Thanks a lot for all the other ideas though…I’m sure THAT won’t make people stare at me even more.|

Also if I see someone bent over I have to (open the window in the winter and) make a fart noise. I giggle like a school girl.

lazy difting in wide lanes...
I like to let my jeep drift, to and from the white line on the left, just barely staying in the lane. It makes everyone pay attention. passengers, cyclists, other motorists, and the fuss.

|drivebytruckerz||I always let the idle settle down after cranking before I turn on any additional electronics (a/c, heat, lights etc.) and always turn them all off before I turn the key off so they don't start up when I crank the next time.|

I'm a very process or checklist driven so now that it's been mentioned I always go through the same process for startup/shutdown is turn key partway give it 5 seconds turn key further start jeep....wait for all warnings to go out then power up the heater and then the radio...
Process changes for shutdown as well as summer top off operations
I guess it's the checklist mentality ingrained in me for flight training that keep me almost subconsciously doing so.

I do the same thing. The "Jeep" letters have to be facing me. I wish I had a key that says "Jeep" on both sides, would make life much easier.

[QUOTE=Phil05LJ;1077490]My habit is I won't start my Jeep unless the letters "Jeep" on the key are facing me in the ignition.
I do this too!!

Another thing ive noticed is that when ever i turn on my headlights i alway flip on my fog lights. add that extra light
Another habit is before starting i push in the clutch and put the shifter and neutral then start up
