|07-24-2007 12:51 AM|
you shouldnt.. you only need the lights since you reuse the bases from the original bulbs
keep in mind LEDs have + and - and will not work if flipped.. so if you install them and any of ur bulbs dont work.. flip them 180 degrees around..

|RIPBiker13||Do I just need the lights or the twist lock bases also? I don't want to buy crap I don't need. Oh, and thanks!|

Those 3 led thingy? I remember a thread called gauge cluster makeover or something of that sort.. replaced the lights in the cluster with 3 led lights so it was bright as hell. Let me see if i can find the thread...
When removing the glove box.. the strip that hold it up can just slide off to the side so you dont have to remove any screws.. just slide the strip off and put the box down and pull it towards the seat.

i had to remove the dash for new lights in the gauge panel, and i got the directions on this site. http://dailydriventj.com/forum/viewt...c67d0a6c3f85c3
and for the center piece you follow the directions given by 02prov

|RIPBiker13||I'll try that out. BRB. thanks|

The top panel (where the defrost vent is) pops right off. Then you have access to a screw on the top of the center portion of the dash. There is another screw inside the slot for the ashtray. (Not sure about it if you have the switch panel there). Once you get the center portion off, remove the glovebox and panel under the steering wheel.
You should have access to all of the wiring harnesses you would need to tap into from here.

Need help w/ dash removal!
I'm installing rock lights (see below) but I can't figure out how to get the dash off to access the wires to hook it all up. I know someone here has done it many times... Where are you?
