Another Build Sheet Question

I, too, got my build sheet from Chrysler. I've noticed place names on mine and others... things like I29S Route 29 UP Council Bluffs, IA or I27S Route 27 UP Council Bluffs, IA, or I31S Route 31 - UP Mira Loma, HI. What does all of that mean?
07-29-2007 08:01 AM
c125bob Guess you are right. Anyway, it's been a great Jeep. 71 k and no issues, has been babied and coddled though. It wouldn't know what to do in the mud (ha).

I think because it was not a jeep standard color, but more of a promotional color that only a few were made.

Tj Bunch probably not so much getting dirt from bottom of tank as getting them hot burning them out. The Chevys we get the module List is $510.00 and then the labor another $300.00 so try to keep a 1/4 tank in your chev. jeep just made it easy they say your empty and still have 3-4 gallons to keep pump cool.

MCG 3gal. or so aprox. it's almost like 50 miles so I think that in 50 miles at least it will be 1 gas station.
Also I dont want to find out on the hard way, when my light turns on on when i heard that beep, I drive around 14 to 20 miles before stop in to a gas station.
Also I'm afraid of the fuel pump get dirty.
07-26-2007 05:53 PM
mrbigjeep mine has been waaay past the empty mark and when i filled up i only got 16.5 gallons...it is definitely a 19 gallon tank...with a huge reserve.

That has to be the technical name for it.

Walkeraviator If you have the 19 gallon and get 15 in it when empty, some moron at the factory installed yoru fuel pump, measuring unit in the upper of two positions. it needs to be moved down. If you have the 15 gallon tank, you can cut the filler and vent tube to make it 19 gallon. I have been researching this hard for about a week now since my fuel pump all-in-one magic chrysler wallet breaker is going out.
07-26-2007 04:59 PM
blownfanswitch I have ran my needle down below the red on the gauge and still only got 15 in it
07-26-2007 12:11 PM

Walkeraviator I think I am gonna try the Gerr Can trick.. Top off set Odometer to "0" and drive till it runs out and see what the trip odometer says. then use a gerry can to get me to the next fuel station.
07-26-2007 11:37 AM
GrnTJ I have as well. When I first bought mine from a guy down the road it was below E and I drove it around for a bit before I decided to go fill er' up. It seems like it would make sense to have the added capacity be after the needle hits E.

It's litterally 5 gals of gas that the mfg charges you for. I confirmed with a MOPAR master tech yesterday. I have the same issue. Build sheet claims 19 gal tank but I can run it bone dry and still only get 15.5 gals in it.
03-13-2007 05:53 AM
jjseel I finally got my sheet...took about 2 business days. They sure do list differently. There are things on the list a couple of times, and things that aren't on my list that are on others, but that I have... What a trip! Thanks for the link.
