that does help, but I'm going w/ the 15in rims to avoid all confusion. AzTJ says the backspace will be fine so I'd rather have the 33x12.5x15

naterg I wanted to do that too, but i like the yellow too much, so I am going to make it look like a hot wheels jeep i had. Yellow with the decals in black.

AzTJ I only had my TJ for 6months before I lifted it... a new paint job can last quite a bit longer
07-27-2007 08:40 PM
RIPBiker13 a couple years... it's that way for everything it seems... lol
07-27-2007 08:38 PM
AzTJ No I'm serious about it... just give me a couple years
07-27-2007 08:35 PM
RIPBiker13 That's actually not a bad looking color. I thought you were joking though... my bad.

Your looking for a 16 tire? You gonna have to look at metrics... something like a 285/75R16 if you want a 33x12.5x16 tire.
Yes I am aware those are only simulated beadlocks. You already told me I don't need real locks. But they have that look I want. And everything else on mine will be black also. I want something to stand out.

As far as the backspace, If I can run the 3 5/16 w/o rubbing then I would prefer the 15in rims. Can I run that backspace safely w/ 33x12.5 muds?
07-27-2007 05:53 PM
Triple88a I like the shiny rims better than the black. When the wheels are black and the rims are black.. doesnt do it for me.. light colored rims just looks better with red body
Whats the problem with 3.5bs rims? It's only 1/4th inch difference

my .02

naterg I will be getting those black wheels you posted in the first post. I like the look of them a lot.

Edit: Well, these are them, somewhat similar:
