Tackelbarry Terminator012, I got about a 1" sag in the front. This is only because I left my original springs on the TJ and then added a LoD winch bumper and a 8K winch. I really like the quality, as well as the ride of the Zone 2" BB and the Nitro shocks. I have only had this system on my TJ for approx three months and will hate to see it go. Once I take it off I will probably put it up for sale and save someone some money on their first system.

TXST8tj This is just a generalized statement which may or may not relate to the Zone shocks, as I have do not have any personal experience with them.....

Twin-tube shocks in general are going to ride moderately rough to very rough. It is generally not until you get into a mono-tube shock that the ride will be "great", or simply less than rough.

If they offer an "upgrade" to a twin-tube, it is likely the standard shocks will cause you fillings to come loose, or bruise your kidneys. I find that any reasonably priced shock upgrade (such as that $21 deal) is worth the money.
Rough Country offers the same upgrade from their standard 8000 series to their 9000 series and I can attest to the improvement in ride quality. While the 9000s are still stiff in my opinion, they are worth the $25 upgrade charge over the harsh 8000s.

Arch Stanton There was a post by a member a couple of weeks ago regarding the Zone Nitro shocks and a BB.

Tackelbarry The Zone rep told me that their regular Nitro shocks are made by Tenneco. I have the NItros and like the ride, but will be upgrading to the Old Man Emu 2 1/2" lift as soon as I everything is delivered. The only reason for the change is due to the sag of the factory springs after installing a LoD bumper and 8k winch.

Zone nitro shocks

Finally decided to buy the Zone 3" lift tomorrow but after looking on their site today, I see that they have a upgrade of $21 to nitro twin tube shocks. I've been searching on tons of threads today trying to find reviews or write ups on even the standard shocks that come with the lift. Could anybody give me any advice to upgrade to the nitros or stick with the standard shocks that come with the lift since this will be my dd. Thank you!
