Natel37 @undead don't have a soft top....it doesn't look like the hard top has ever been taken off

Undead-89 Natel, mine came from the holes in the top of the window frame drilled for the soft top. When I took the Soft Top off water would get up Under the lip and start filling the Window frame, which would then leak into the dash.

NAVYCHIEF /\ X 2 make sure you get the one that screws on to the vent frame. the generic tape on one is a waste of time and money.

Undead-89 There is a drain pipe in the engine compartment on the firewall on the Passenger side. Looks like a 1inch tube with a flanged rubber thingy at the bottom. That is probably plugged up. Disconnect it ans empty it out.

If you want to install a scoop for maximum input air you want to mount it with the opening toward the window. Air actually hits the windshield and goes down and forward. When you are driving you can actually see the water run forward on the hood until it hits the edge and catches the wind and is blown back. Even more entertaining with ice chunks.

Yj hood vent leaks inside during heavy rain

Does anyone have experience with installing a small vent scoop to make cabin vents more effective? I am in south Florida and during our heavy rains some water leaks through the vent intake onto the cabin floor. Do you know if the vent scoops work and should they be installed facing forward as that looks like more water might be directed into the vent. Thanks
