Id like to know where you get your gear work done. I have never heard of anybody getting the job done for this cheap...

Jeepin91YJ A cold air intake will help with higher gears. You should be able to switch to fifth a bit later on hill. I would not rear gear a rear Dana 35. The money you spend on that you should just upgrade to at least a Dana 44.

little1989jeep yea upgrade your gear sets to a 4.56 or if you want a better crawl ratio go with the 4.88s

benaldridgejr Same here buddy.I have 33s and a 5" lift. Everything was fine on 2357515s. Its the huge heavy tires. You can change your ring and pinion to help a lil i hear. 4wd hardware has a chart for em and sell em. Im just dealing with it lol.

Severe power loss at highway speeds

My 1992 Wrangler is a 4 cyl with a lift and 33 tires. I just bought it and tried to drive it to work on I-95 and found out that it really doesn't want to go fast climbing hills at highway speeds. It does great in the low granny gears, climbing really steep hills. But on the highway, climbing hills, forget about it. I can push the pedal to the floor and it just wants to go nowhere. In fact it just drops speed quick.

Anybody have any idea what could be causing this? Please help me out before I have to sell it.
