Wrangler_Man11 I always get snubbed by the JKU's......AND I DRIVE ONE!!!! But at least I KNOW it's a Jeep! And that's good enough for me! =]

1970Buick I first learned the Jeep wave when I got my first wrangler in high school back in 95. Back then it seemed like everybody waved! I bought the wife her first Jeep, an 89 Islander, in August and was telling her that everyone with Jeeps wave at each other. She thought that was pretty cool. Well, our first ride around town in it made me look like an idiot. 0 for 5 and they were all JK's. Now the only waves we get around here are from other YJ's and some TJ's.

redneck2725 This is too funny, I didn't even know about The Wave until a week ago. I was lost at first why so many other Jeep guys were waving at me. Now that I got the hang of it, I can say that I'm at

7 for 9 so far, the first five actually waved at me first

If anyone sees a bone stock blue TJ rolling around Miami, don't forget to wave.
Will do. Wave back (green stock Sahara TJ)

shell I'm 2 for 7 today. One from a lifted TJ, the other from a JK. One more if you count the lowered TJ with the big *ss rims & low profile tires
Before anyone asks, I returned the wave. I felt sorry for the poor guy. He was obviously clueless, but he was just so darned excited to wave at me......

kjeeper10 Well traded my Tj for my Jk 2 months ago.
Was 4/4 today.

Come to the conclusion that some Jk owners do know how to wave, just have something against the Tjs. Passed the same JK's on the way to work and gave up waving to them. The first day I drove by with the Jk.... Hey what do you know-they waved lol

On occasion you will get that clueless jk driver but all and all most do wave now.

RedBones 0/4 today.

devilray31 I've owned my '05 TJ for just over a month now, and from the beginning I noticed the jeep wave. My wife says I'm part of Jeep gang now.

That's sad soccer moms don't get it... It upsets me when fellow jeepskis don't wave.. It makes me want to get a windshield sticker that says "wave damn it!"

flyfishnevada Took a trip down US 395 to go fishing. Should have gotten plenty of waves, but went 2/9. One guy even passed me on a dirt road and failed to wave. WTF?????
08-08-2011 12:35 AM
ratherbedirty didnt see a whole lot of jeeps this weekend but i got 4/4 waves. one from a guy with a stock red TJ just like mine and we were both covered in mud so of course i got that one. and believe it or not i got one from a white haired ol' lady in a JK! a real jeep wave, too: 2 fingers off the steering wheel and a nod. hey, even some old ladies understand the jeep thing.

TOTAL: 26/34
08-05-2011 06:03 PM
markzeronine I got a wave from both a YJ and wait for it... a JK 4-door. The YJ was stock, the JK was huge. Both very cool Jeeps. I'll start my count now. With that one JK wave I waved at two more but it was a couple of dumbass soccer mom types, probably 2wd.. of course they didn't wave back. Going to go back to not waving at those stupid things unless they wave at me first. Sorry for the little rant lol

2/2

something to keep in mind, you can rent 4-door JK's now, it will explain atleast a few of the non wavers. On another note, I've found YJ guys to be the most reliable to wave.. I have a TJ
