tiny terror Hey hey now, that's not right. I have two.
07-31-2007 09:26 PM
Triple88a Ooooo Tiny has a big one
07-31-2007 09:12 PM
nicolas-eric thank you very much.
mine are 6500 lbs and 20 inch. then they should be big enough to put in the 2.5" OME springs without a spring compressor.

tiny terror They're 6000 lb, 13.5 inch to 21 inch stands (they still have the sticker, who'da thunk it)

yes please measure them.
if my 20" stands are to small i´ll have to buy some bigger before the weekend because our tool and car parts shops are closed on the weekends.

I'm guessing you are talking about the BL? I remember you saying you hated BLs and woudlnt want to install it but only did because you have to.

Dont make me search through your lift thread since knowing me i'd bump it.

Triple88a I used my stock jack and a cinder block to lift the body when doing my BL.. worked fine..

Dont forget.. dont stick your hands in between the body and the frame

Yeah, I should have washed the mud off, but it looks so good.

stevin33 i'm in the middle of the install
does anyone have any pics of what the coil spring spacers should look like once installed? and also pics of a body lift spacer, i know that there are 11 of them but i just need a pic of one...

thanks.......
07-20-2007 04:51 PM
Triple88a ^ I got my money on Unlimited's recommendation above
07-20-2007 01:32 PM
stevin33 thanks everyone, the bl & mml will be getting installed.
sorry jordan....
a friend of mine just gave me a set of front rubicon springs. he told me to replace mine (99 sahara) and that the new springs will help level off the jeep. is this true?
i never really noticed my jeep leaning towards the front...

Unlimited As much as I hate to suggest it, you really need to read the tiny's lift thread. Start from the begining, she did what you are going to do and had some vib problems. MML and BL fixed them. Its a big thread but worth the read. Good luck with your lift!
07-18-2007 05:24 PM
Redrubicon2004 My finace's 1998 TJ is running a 2" bb and a 1" body lift with a 1" radiator drop, no vibes!

Also with a 1" body lift I was able to leave out the bumpstop extensions and run 32" with no rubbing, the tires stuff like crazy but dont rub!
07-18-2007 05:16 PM
cavediverjc If you decide against installing the BL and the MML, let me know.....I'd be interested in buying them from you.

tazmann910 look at my signature...no SYE, 33" tires, 3 inch suspension, 1 inch body lift and 1" motor mount lift...no transfer case drop and very little vibes.
07-18-2007 03:46 PM
mrbigjeep install it. you'll be glad you did.
07-18-2007 10:59 AM
erickpl The OME kit you got is fine for up to 32x11.5 tires (depending on wheel backspacing).

If you want 33's, the BL and MML will be a GOOD thing. I had vibes with my OME lift and ran the t-case drop for a while, but decided to go to 33's and did the BL/MML later and removed the t-case drop (I have a D35 and AX-5 manual tranny).

Walkeraviator I guess I just spent too many year sin teh redneck Bronco community where BL's where looked upon like being a yuppie. BL's were the spawn of satan. I guess I gotta get that idea out my head.
