I am really liking this top. In my mind the only real disadvantage is going to be the pain of folding it behind the seats. I'm guessing most people will leave it on all the time, and just run it as a Bikini when the weather is good. Which is what I do all summer long anyway: just run a Bikini that I never remove.
Yea I was going to buy that one but I went for the supertop nx because I like to be topless as much as possible and have the ability to quickly put the top back on when it starts to rain.

ovrtake92 On the unlimited there are no issues with rear passenger headroom. The roll bars go well aft of the rear seat. There is no interference with headroom and roll bar placement and therefore no way that headroom would take a hit with the TrekTop. I can not speak for the SWB. Also, it is a Safari Style Bikini Top with all windows removed. Sorry for the confusion.

bdirty I talked to Quadratec on Friday the 25th. They quoted early April for tinted tj nx top. Tried to get me to pre order on the phone. I balked, with my luck I'd be out the better part of $600 till Oct. 2012 delivery. I'll believe their in when their in! Definitely want one though!

you mean SAFARI style (http://www.autoaccessories4less.com/...aridrillLG.jpg) right? not Bikini (http://www.autoaccessories4less.com/...mondJeepLG.jpg)

(Waiting to hear about rear passengers head room)

Overall, This is a great looking very practical/user friendly product and I would highly recommend the Trektop NX if you are in the market for a new soft top and like the sleek agressive look of the trektop.

ovrtake92 I've got the new Trektop NX. Bestop used my jeep for the testing and photo/video shoots. First few observations are very positive. I had the original trektop and this one is worlds better.

-Much quieter at highway speeds probably due to support bar that minimizes flapping
-rear window is attached at the outside which would alleviate my biggest complaint of trying to re install by contorting myself to get the window reattached in the little slider that is in an awkward place
-all windows detach allowing for a bikini top covering the front and rear seats.
-sunrider(havent tried yet) is an awesome feature.
new door surrounds look way better and will be much more user friendly
-I dont have pictures which is the most important part but they will be up shortly and Bestop will have a video out as well.
I will post more info when I can.

curious on storing the TrektopBX

I like the ideas behind TrektopNX alot - am curious how to store the top in the jeep if you want it completely off? Not sure if this will be a pain or not....Or will it just be easier to have it in sunrider mode with all the windows off. Looking forward to seeing some pictures and Videos once it is available!

Poor joke on my part-got halftop after learning (on here) one would fit on my'04 wrangler. Had wanted one since '05 but thought it wouldn't fit.

With summer almost here-will be switching to bikini, jammer, and duster-'cause I like that look--- and it will open the Jeep more than just flipping the halftop back.

But I probably should have a full top just in case some day I need to use the back seats-want frameless so I can free up a little more garage space -as my factory softtop has been hanging on the wall for 10 of the last 12 months. and I plan on letting another jeeper get it.

Jp90Talon Well there isnt a frame to fold and tuck back like an OEM top so its either on (with or without windows or sunrider open) or off

A bowless style top needs to be completely removed. Once removed, you can leave it at home, or "stuff" it behind the seats. But this is going to be more of a pain. Not that significant, and most people who own bowless tops really like them.
So the terktop nx has to be completely removed to take off?

tomkaren Got my Supertop NX on order. Now I really really can wait. Patience is a virtue?!
