Arch Stanton Thanks guys for the feedback. I'll take another look at the Duratracs. I'll have to look for a local dealer that has the Grabber AT's. I'd also like to see the new Grabbers with the red letters. Have a good one!

Tdad For a DD, take a look at the General Grabber AT2's. Been running a set since April of last year, almost 20k on them. Wearing like iron, great in all kinds of weather, better then BFG in snow. Cheaper than BFG too.

Jon M Any interest in the GY Duratracs. Have them on mine, 31/10.5/15 and love them. Very low on road noise. And an aggressive tread. Got em here locally for $140 ea. Plus treadlightly and Goodyear have a $100 mail in rebate.

KidRock171 Ohh I dunno. About 50 miles or so? Lol. I don't have any long term experience with them but I cant hardly tell that they are m/t's

Arch Stanton I noticed that there is about a five pound difference in weight. Regarding the size, is that width or height? Thank you for the input. Have a good day!

ESP I would go with the KM2s over the Kevlars for a DD. The KM2s are not nearly as heavy as the MTRs and they have less rolling resistance as well = better MPG. Both are great tires however, you can't go wrong with either. Just so you know, the KM2s will measure smaller once mounted than the MTRs. The kevlars are more true to size once mounted than the BFGs.

Arch Stanton Thank you for the feedback on your tires. How many miles do you have on the tires so far and how many more miles do you expect to get out of them? Thanks again. Have a good day!

GY MTR or BFG KM2 tires for DD?

I'm going to have to get some new tires soon due to DW and play in the front end. I mostly drive on pavement and off road on the weekends. My Jeep is my only vehicle. I currently have 31 BFG AT KO's. The mechanic told me that these are prone to cupping, so I'm not going with these again. I had three sets of KO's on a Nissan that were great, but maybe these are not the best choice for a solid axle Jeep. I'm looking for three-ply sidewall tires to handle the sharp rocks out here in Arizona and still go at least 40k miles. I looked at the General Grabber with the raised red letters, but there is very little information out there on this tire. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
