|530ktm||You can look at Etrailer.com and they have the harness that simply plugs into the wires up under the rear inside the plastic mud shield. No cutting or splicing required.|

That sounds like a jeep thing. Pull both tail lights off (4 screws on each lense, and 3 bolts holding the light to the body). after that you can get easy access to each turn signal, a brake wire, and the the 4th wire is a ground to the chasis if I remember right.

|Peepers||Unbolt one of your tail lights, and figure out which wire is the brake light. splice into that. This is just one of those lights you stick in the hitch, or are you trying to do a 4 wire harness?|

Trailer hitch light brake light connection
Does anyone have an exploded diagram of where I wire the adapter to hooks up a trailer brake light. The haynes manual for the 1912 to 2096 jeep just didnt have specific enough information for me to figure this thing out. I have an 02 tj and as far as I can tell there is no place to even splice the brake light connector in unless you remove the whole rear end of my jeep.
Any advice would be great.
