Bassett99TJ Didnt have to pass emission in Green Valley AZ. Have to everywhere else, but took it in and just paid the money..maybe they forgot.

C.L. This passed emissions inspection with no CAT? How's the battery/alternator holding up. Does the idle dip when headlights or fans are turned on and off as well? I remember a weird issue with a Grand Cherokee a few years ago where a shorted fan relay was pulling down voltage on something that would regulate the idle. Truck ran fine with the throttle held open, but would stall out after a few minutes if left alone for a minute or two.

No CAT Converter causing the problem?

OK, so I noticed that for what ever reason the previous owner had removed the CAT Converter. Is this possibling causing the issue?

Oxygen Sensors gone bad

Oxygen sensor/s went bad in my TJ a few months back, had them replaced. The codes poped back up and the problem is back. Mainly chug when in park and idiling, or when foot is on the brake stopped while in drive. Is somrthing making the sensors go bad? I dont want to replace them again if they are just going to go bad again. Any suggestions? Codes I read are below. Also could use some hellp identifying what sensor I need to buy and where it is located.

P0138 - O2 Sensor Circuit High Volts (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

P0141 - O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
