|p95loser||You should be able to comfortably run 255/75/16s.|

|willhope4||i want duratrac too. i have 15 x 10 inch rim with a 4 inch lift on my jeep. I am going to fit 32/10.5/15. if you have a 16 inch rim you might be able to fit a 285/70or75/16 on a stock maybe?|

metric ???? now i'm really confused. i want some duratracs that are as big as i can use without rubbing to much. don't wont to mess anything up but don't mind a little rub in a hard turn.

|willhope4||285 metric is a 30.7 inch on a 16 rim|

|willhope4||i hate the metric sizes on 16 inch rims|

they will be on stock 06 wheels. i'm in the woods hunting a lot on some pretty rough washed out roads . i know nothing about these numbers. will the 255's on the 16's be as tall as the 31's on the 15's ?

|WVRUBI||Look at my avatar and other pics you can get an idea. Trust me from experience if your mostly on the street and mild wheeling you will be fine and they look good. And as long as your not hitting any jagged edges and tearing up your skins a little bit of rubbing never hurt anybody. Lol!|

|WVRUBI||They sure will i run 265/75-r16 on mine stock, my yoko's measure closer to a 32 than a 31 they are snug and at full turn they will rub the inner fender just barely but you can adjust your stops if it bothers you. If you plan on wheeling pretty hard you will prob. get into the fenders pretty bad but on the street you will be fine. I recently installed a zone 3" lift with the intent of running 285's but not until my 265's are worn. Suprisingly they still look good and not out of place with the lift. Hope this helps you decide.|

Stock TJ with Moabs and 265/75/16's - JeepForum.com
Here is another thread on this subject, looks like the 265s will rub.

|p95loser||Those show to be 31.7" which would be too close for comfort for me. I would go with 255/75/16s, which are 31.1". Just be sure your new wheels' backspacing are right so you don't rub when you turn.|

Will a 265-75-16 work on a stock tj ? going to 16's on a 05 and want something close to 31-10-50 that were on my 15's. don't want to go smaller.
