Hilldweller I ran 33s on 16s for a while without a lift. Due to proper backspacing, it didn't rub up front but the tires kissed the rear fenders when articulated; when articulated aggressively, they french-kissed the fenders and popped them off a bit.

Here it is with no lift.

I was also high-centering pretty often and bumping my trailer wiring (breaking it off) on departures. So I finally caved-in and lifted it 2.5".

Here it is lifted.

Sometimes lifting makes sense. Don't do it for cosmetic reasons; don't buy tires for cosmetic reasons. Don't marry a stripper unless you really love her --- same thing...

2008 Sahara Wheels and Tires

Hi, I'm new to this site, and just bought my '08 Wrangler Unlimited 4 dr 4wd Sahara after my lease was up. Now that she's mine, I can put some accessories on it without throwing money away.,

I would like to put wheels and tires on it, but I don't want to lift it unless it is necessary.
I presently have stock wheels with 255/75/18's on them. That tire factors out to be a 32" tire. I would like to go a little taller and a little wider of a tire to give it more of an aggresive look. What is my best way to achieve what I'm looking for?
Thanks in advance for any help.
