hardy1531 Yeah They fit. I have put a pair of infinity kappa's in. I did some trimming but I wanted to keep the factory grill. hope this helps.

Jerry Bransford My 6.5" speakers fit perfectly without any trimming of the factory soundbar needed. Just avoid the less commonly found 'S' version of 6.5" speakers that have a deeper magnet housing which won't fit.

khenderson you can fit 6.5's in there. you may have to do a little trimming, but they'll go.

Speakers in Rear Soundbar

Has anyone installed 6 1/2" speakers in their TJ soundbar? It's made for 5 1/4 but I've heard that 6 1/2 sometimes fit with no modification. I've got 5 1/4 Boston Acoustics in the sound bar now that I'm going to move to the front to replace the 4x6s in the dash.
