|SCOOPYS-YJ||most new vehicles carry a 80k + emmissions waranty so therefore it should be covered.|

|jeeperman||If the vehicle is emissions certified in the state you are having the inspection done in (ie, you own a "45 state emissions legal vehicle, and you are having it inspected in one of those 45 states), and you (or anyone else) have not made any changes to the emissions system that would increase emissions, the manufacturer should be held responsible for deficiencies with their system.|

Vehicle inspection question.....
Just curious, it hasn't happened.....But suppose you have a Jeep or any other vehicle that is still under warranty. You go in for an inspection and it fails the emissions part of the test. Not because of exhaust or muffler, but something internal. Would the repairs required be covered under the warranty?
