daggo66 Yes they are different sizes. You need ones for your year Jeep with a 2.5" lift. Gas shocks are the best. I would suggest Bilstein or OME.

shock question

I am not mechanically inclined at all, so if this question sounds dumb that is why. I recently had a used Rough Country 2.5" lift put on my '04 TJ and have 16" rims with 32x10 tires. One of the front shocks that came in the kit is shot so I have to get replacements. My questions are...are there different size shocks? Are gas shocks what I'm looking for? What shocks are good?
