|jasonduke5||This is how i have my shovel. it isnt a little shovel. i have a full size one side and use to have an axe on the other side but took that off. never used it and and was afraid someone would take it off and hit my jeep with it.|

You mean you don't have a collaspable shovel? With the tiny amound of space in my Jeep, a full sized shovel is the last thing to be in there. Fits under my Seat very nicely I might add.

|Beachcomber||I have a small shovel much like the one Kammit has. I keep it as well as a board and a tow strap under the rear seat. They all fit and are out of sight and out of the way.|

I'm getting more of a flat spade that doesn't shovel nearly as well from Undercoverfab.
I wonder if my current shovel can be strapped to my hilift?

That folding shovel sounds like the e-tool that I carry in my Jeep. Just find a place to get to it easy when you need it and strap it down. Mine gets strapped to the hi-lift.
